Six Creative Ways To Display QR Codes For Photo Sharing At Your Wedding

QR code in picture frame on bar

Our QR codes, allow guests to upload their images to your online photo album while at your wedding. This has transformed the way newlywed couples, and those who celebrate with them, record their special day.

Our online photo album means that as well as having the official photographer, you get to see all the special moments that make up the occasion, that you perhaps wouldn’t otherwise have spotted. Ultimately, you’ll have huge range of images to create memories across the whole event from start to finish from everyone’s view.

The way it works is really simple. Guests just scan your wedding QR code and upload their photos, which the couple can choose to either view after the event or can set up a screen can be displayed as they are uploaded.

One thing you may be wondering is where to display the code so guests can scan it. Here are some ideas:

1.) Print on the invitation

That way, guests can scan the QR code before they even set off from home to attend your wedding. Or include it with travel/accommodation information, or on other stationery such as the order of service.

2.) Have a picture frame on the bar

This is another good idea – after all, most of your guests will be visiting the bar at some point during the proceedings. You can make the frame look really pretty and match your theme, so that it stands out and people are drawn to it to scan the code. The frame doesn’t have to go on the bar, by the way, you could also have it, by your seating plan or on the gift table.

3.) Wedding favours

These small tokens given to guests, usually at the meal or reception are there to thank guests for their attendance. Quite often, favours are something like small boxes of sweets, and so it can be quite easy to incorporate the QR code.

4.) Centrepieces

You’re likely to have something on the tables at your venue, whether that’s flower arrangements, foliage, vases, lanterns or anything else. You could use any item like this creatively to display your QR code. The same goes for name cards – and a QR code here could also link to a digital menu.

5.) Venue Signage

You may have other signage around your venue with directions for guests, for example car park, welcome signs at the entrance, menus boards etc. Displaying your QR code in as many places as possible will help to encourage people to scan and upload photos as they are snapped.

6.) Guest book

If you’re running a guest book for people to sign their names and thoughts, this is another ideal location.

With so many options, you can get creative with where you show your wedding QR code, and have it in a prominent place of your choice so that guests feel encouraged to use it. Encouraging guests to upload their pictures to your online album enables all memories of your special day to be captured.
